Habs 4, Leafs 1

It figures they would lose the day my blog started.

The Leafs came out flat tonight, the Habs flying. With the Leafs not playing the simple, smart hockey they've been playing as of late and with Carey Price playing like the next Vezina winner I was quite sure that they would lose their second game of a season long 7 game road trip soon after the puck dropped. The refs sucked large all game missing calls against both teams and calling a few questionable ones as well.

Kerry Fraser still chaps my ass from '93. For those of you that don't know about it, don't ask.

For my part, I wore my away Leafs jersey for the game and my favorite demin Leaf's ballcap. During their recent string of good play I never donned anything Leafy.

I'll take the blame for this one boys.

Hockey Night In Canada always gives me something to look forward to and it was such a let down to lose to the hated Habs.

Welcome To My Little Blog

I figured I'd start a blog so I can keep folks up to date on what's going on with me. I probably won't be very good at this, but my beautiful wife keeps a fairly up to date blog on the goings on of our family at http://libertyherd.blogspot.com/ , she writes about the more important aspects of our wonderful life together.

So, I'll probably be talking mostly about the peaks and valleys of my beloved Toronto Maple Leafs, my golf game, my pursuit to be the next Tim "the toolbelt" Taylor, and some geeky stuff to boot.
